We would like to give a massive thank you to all our delegates, chairpersons and speakers for helping make the BioHorizons Camlog UK & Ireland ‘Implants for Life’ National Symposium such a success.

Described by some as the “first truly educational event in implants”delegates were treated to four inspiring sessions over two days, addressing key areas of modern implantology, including but not limited to treatment planning, tissue management and full arch surgery – as well as an exclusive ‘Disasters from the Master’s‘ session from our Symposium Masters.

Held at the stunning De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor, Berkshire, on the 16th – 17th September, a leading panel of four chairpersons and 12 speakers were sourced and secured to deliver an outstanding weekend of engaging and thought-provoking education. The aim, to ensure delegates received the most up-to-date impartial and insightful education available within the UK & Ireland today, with the ultimate intent of helping them enjoy greater career satisfaction as an outstanding clinician.

“Excellent networking, excellent location in beautiful grounds, great educational event and well worth giving up my important Friday clinical session.”

Delegate

With over 100 delegates in attendance, the bite-sized sessions left delegates feeling energised to implement their learnings into practise but not before being treated to an evening gala dinner and entertainment from special guest speaker, former SAS soldier Colin MacLachlan.

The Symposium was supported by key industry partners, and we were delighted to welcome two charities that our company supports: Naomi House & Jacksplace and DHST (Dentists’ Health Support Trust). Plus, it gave BioHorizons Camlog great pleasure to be able to offer this event to customers at a discounted rate of £150 – with all delegate registration fees donated to our chosen charity, Naomi House & Jacksplace – enabling us to raise an impressive £13,350 for the dedicated hospice for children and young adults.

Alex Guest, General Manager at BioHorizons Camlog UK & Ireland commented. “Our ultimate goal at BioHorizons Camlog is to put the customer and their patients at the forefront of everything we do. It is for this reason we decided to pull together an intellectual, exciting, and focused UK & Ireland National Symposium that centred on ‘Implants for Life’ and the importance of adopting a patient-centric approach to dental implantology.

We are delighted at the feedback from delegates and with 96% of attendees ‘strongly agreeing’ or ‘agreeing’ that the event’s sessions were well-structured and relevant to their educational needs, we can’t wait to get planning the 2024 National Symposium!
